Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified Osteopathic physician to join a dynamic academic Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine within the NeuroMusculoskeletal Institute. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. Opportunities to teach the next generation of leaders in the medical field are a part of this position. In support of the School of Osteopathic Medicine and Rowan Medicine mission and vision, the selected candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at one or more of the out-patient clinical offices located in the Southern New Jersey area.

Working collaboratively with other Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians, the Osteopath provides care to patients seeking osteopathic treatment. Participates in a collegial relationship with the physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. Prescribes medication and may provide other holistic forms of treatment for the patient's care. The osteopath provides consultation to clinical staff regarding patient care issues, and may also provide patient education to meet the needs of the patient and families.

The candidate must hold the following:

• Valid NJ medical license

• CDS license

• DEA license

* Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)

Our clinical campus is located in Southern New Jersey, which is within the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately eight miles from Center City Philadelphia, one hour from the Jersey Shore, and hour and a half from NYC and two hours from Washington, DC.
