Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine Physician/Scientist (3-309-1166): The Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a physician-scientist with a scientific focus in the area of sarcoidosis as a full-time faculty member. This position will be expected to have extramural research support and also to provide inpatient clinical service in one of our MICUs (University of Maryland Medical Center Downtown/Midtown campuses and Baltimore VA Medical Center) and outpatient clinical practice. Appropriate time will be protected for research.

Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher level, however, final rank and salary will be dependent upon selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Qualifications :

This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent) and all applicants must be eligible to obtain an independent license to practice Medicine in the State of Maryland. Additionally, candidates must be BE/BC in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and have a demonstrated interest in teaching and research.
