The University of Missouri Office of Human Resources provides leadership in the planning, integration, and implementation of Human Resource services and programs for faculty and staff across the organization. Collectively with campus colleagues, we serve as a strategic and trusted advisor, support an inclusive and dynamic culture and workforce, and pursue continuous improvement through knowledge, collaboration and leadership.

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as an HR Consultant for the Learning & Organizational Development team to support critical HR projects. This role will focus on supporting a culture of lifelong learning for employees through administration of our learning management system (Percipio/Skillsoft), management of ongoing staff professional development programs, design and development of customized learning content, and implementation of compliance/mandatory training programs.

A successful applicant will need to be a collaborative project manager with the ability to lead cross-functional implementation teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as manager of the University’s Learning Management System (Percipio/Skillsoft), providing ongoing support to learners, supervisors and LMS administrators seeking to utilize online learning content
  • Manage relationships with online learning software vendors to ensure optimal functioning of software for the University’s needs
  • Coordinate the implementation of mandatory compliance training programs, working with content owners and a cross-functional implementation team to plan, launch, and support training
  • Manage end-to-end coordination and facilitation of bi-annual, peer-to-peer professional development conference (i.e., Staff Development Week)
  • Design and create custom online trainings, working with subject matter experts to build accurate, effective, accessible, and timely learning material
  • Manage outreach and marketing efforts on behalf of the Learning & Organizational Development team to increase visibility and utilization of professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Learning & Organizational Development team members, human resource colleagues across the University system and other key constituents
  • Involvement with other duties and responsibilities may be expected in order to support the mission and purpose of the University of Missouri System

  • Leads others to solve complex problems, providing guidance as necessary
Salary

$51,000-$63,000/year

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, experience with online course development, and exposure to course development software (e.g., Storyline/Articulate)
  • Experience with administration of Skillsoft/Percipio (or other Learning Management System) and vendor management
  • Strong collaborator and communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle work time efficiently and independently
  • Must demonstrate customer service, confidentiality, integrity, and a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and equal opportunity in their activities
  • Ability to travel between multiple buildings and/or universities to guarantee excellent services
