Purpose of this Position:

Seeking eager, responsible, dependable, intermittent stagehands and technicians to work alongside Office of the Arts production staff in a fast-paced theater and event production environment.

Essential Functions of the Role:
Stagehands and technicians, under the direction of production staff, will assist in setting up, supporting, and taking down of theatrical shows and live events, as well as general theater maintenance.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work within diverse teams and may be asked to work cross-departmentally. The ability to work nights, weekends, and potential long shifts is required.

An ideal candidate would-

  • Be able to lift 50lb or more

  • Be able to take direction

  • Have basic experience or familiarity with hand tools

  • Have an excellent attitude and a desire to learn
