Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Adjunct Professor in 3D Computer Animation in the department of Art and Design, to teach a course in 3D Modeling, Lighting and Rendering. The course for the Spring 2023 semester meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings in-person from 6:05 to 9:00 pm.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Master's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment

Required Years of Experience:

Other Requirements:
MFA, MS, MA or higher degree in animation or a closely aligned field. Career experience in the field of animation.

Proficiency in and the ability to teach conceptual and visual development for 3D modeling and image making using 3D models.



Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with and ability to teach beginning to intermediate-level 3D modeling, lighting and rendering concepts with technical experience in the Autodesk Maya, and beyond. Experience with real-time graphics is a plus. Teaching experience at the college level. Professional experience as a 3D modeler and animator.
