Primary Purpose of Position:
The primary purpose of this position it to coordinate the pre-award planning, organization, and preparation, and the post-award administration of various grants pursued by School of Education faculty, including the Dean's office. The position serves as a liaison with to the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs and ensure that grants are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements. The position provides guidance and support to faculty in the identification of funding opportunities and the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or and equivalent combination of training and experience.

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A successful candidate should have knowledge and experience to: -develop successful grant proposals and other related proposals/reports,
-communicate effectively, both orally and in writing,
-use personal computers and related software applications,
-manage databases effectively,
-organize resources and establishing priorities,
-understand and apply grant funding policies and procedures and applicable local, state, federal and university regulations.
-work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve identified goals.
