The anticipated hiring range for this position is ($4,678 - $11,547) per month. ($56,136 - $67,932 annually)
The final salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

About the Department/Position:
Under the general direction of the Director, User Services the IT Device Consultant will assist in overseeing and coordinating the development and deployment of all endpoint provisioning packages including standard OS images/firmware for Windows/Linux/Mac clients using various mobile device management, endpoint management, and service desk solutions like SCCM, Intune, Jamf, and Manage Engine.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all End Point Provisioning Package projects in conjunction with the Office of Information Technology.
- Creating reports using Microsoft Azure Intune for Education and SQL Server Reporting Services
- Deploying Security/ Feature/ Quality Updates through Patch Management systems on Mac and Windows clients.
- Provide technical support on Windows, Linux, Mac, and virtual desktop infrastructure operating systems, and client connectivity software for on and off-campus as well as for the virtual environment, network, and email access.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, or related fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study; with at least five (5) years experience of which a minimum 2 years of University IT-related work experience such as network and system administration, account and access management, ticketing, troubleshooting the hardware and software, Designing and editing webpages, and installing and updating software and a minimum 3 years of system administration such as Microsoft system administration, Linux / MacOS Administration
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Microsoft InTune, JAMF, Manage Engine, and ability to provide technical support and training.
- Network connectivity, integration, configuration, and protocols (TCP/IP).
- Creating PowerShell scripts to manage, configure, gather information, and remediate servers and end-user devices.
- Patch Management systems like WSUS, Manage Engine or LanGuard,
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified Solution Expert
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified Managing Modern Desktops
Special Working conditions
This position may require the incumbent to be on-call 24/7 to assist in resolving emergency or urgent issues. The incumbent is required to maintain contact with their campus outside of their normal working hours on a regular basis per the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement requirements. Remote contact shall include telephone, cell phone, wireless data access device, remote monitoring of any hardware or software device, and/or electronic mail notification regarding the status of a campus system.
