Research Technician
About the Opportunity
The IASL Lab is seeking a full time Research Technician for an NIH-funded, multidisciplinary project investigating the contribution of affective and motivational features associated with successful cognitive aging. This project employs MRI scans and autonomic physiological measures as well as behavioral and neuropsychological measures of affect, motivation, and memory. The project will involve healthy human adults of various ages.
The Research Technician's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Data collection, data management, and some data analysis (for neuropsychological, behavioral, physiological, and neuroimaging data)
2. Working closely with participants as well as members of our multidisciplinary team
3. Administrative tasks related to participant recruitment, project organization and management
Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. in Psychology, Neuroscience, Engineering, or a related field; some experience working in a laboratory; familiarity with MRI, psychophysiology, and/or behavioral experiments is strongly preferred and prior experience with statistical (e.g., R or Python) and experimental software (e.g., MATLAB) is also preferred

This research position is funded by an R01 grant. The duration of this position is contingent upon the continued availability of funding from this award at its current financial level.
