Duties and Responsibilities
Teaches eight (8) courses for the academic year; advises psychology majors and serves on departmental, college, and university committees. The successful candidate should be able to teach Statistics, Research Methodology and other courses related to his/her area of expertise. Experience integrating technology into the teaching process and/or teaching in a variety of modes (hybrid and on-line course). A commitment to teaching excellence; academic advising experience; departmental, college and university-wide service; and community and professional involvement. Experience in conducting research with undergraduate students is preferred. This is a full-time, nine-month contractual (non-tenure track) position.
Conditions of Employment
Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and verification of credentials. Proof of US citizenship or eligibility for U.S. employment will be required prior to employment (Immigration Control Act of 1986).

Education
A doctoral degree in Psychology is preferred. Persons with ABD status will be considered.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
This person should have knowledge in the general discipline of Psychology including an area of specialization. There should be a record of and a commitment to research, scholarship activities and a strong teaching ability.
