Texas State University invites applications for the position of Associate Athletic Director – Development for the Athletic Department. This position reports to the Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director – Development / Administration.
Job Duties
This position is responsible for strategically planning and implementing major and annual giving fundraising efforts by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting alumni and other key constituents. This position will assist in major athletic fundraising campaigns, suite and club seat solicitation, special projects and higher level annual fund gifts. This position will work in partnership with the University Advancement Division on gift strategy, proposal development, prospect/donor visitation and related follow-up. Other responsibilities include: monitor and analyze annual fund metrics, plan and implement efforts to improve donor communication and awareness of involvement opportunities, attend athletic contests or luncheons, travel to attend university and statewide community functions to help create good will to help promote the university and department of athletics and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director.
