Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon - Academic Clinician Track

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery and have completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery.

Teaching responsibilities may include resident and fellow education in Spine Surgery.

Clinical responsibilities may include an adult spine practice, orthopaedic spine trauma, and development of centers of excellence in Orthopaedic Spine Care.
