Job Description:
Selected individual will develop and teach a variety of courses in Professional Sales both online and face-to-face, produce appropriate peer-reviewed scholarship and participate in service to the Department, Alan E. Hall Sales Center, College and University. The selected individual must have the skills and experience to teach both our sales career seminar and business communications classes right away as well as be able to fill other various needs in the department. This position may have the requirement in helping with development and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:


Required Qualifications:

• A PhD in an applicable field. Candidates must have passed their dissertation defense.
• At least two years’ experience working in a sales role.
• Experience teaching in higher education.
• Experience teaching both business communication as well as leading a sales career seminar class.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in in the sales process.
• A great track record as an effective college level instructor.
• The ability to connect students with sales organizations.
• Great presentation, technology and communication skills.
• Candidates that have ran or been involved with a USCA accredited sales center will be given preference.
