Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. providing instruction in accordance with established curriculum, course outlines and class schedules;
2. creating and maintaining an environment which emphasizes learning, encourages free discussion of ideas and critical thinking;
3. evaluating progress of students concerning educational matters and grades student work;
4. meeting with students outside of class;
5. maintaining appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics;
6. maintaining current knowledge in the subject matter areas;
7. fulfilling professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member;
8. maintaining accurate academic records;
9. performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification-Education/Experience:
Understanding of and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, staff and faculty.

Masters in any field of Engineering, Engineering Technology, and Physics
or
Bachelor Degree in any degree with two years professional experience in industrial or product design, engineering, physics, industrial technology, engineering technology, and robotics,.
or
Associate Degree in a related field with six years’ work experience in industrial or product design, engineering, physics, industrial technology, engineering technology, and robotics.

Desirable Qualifications:
Engineering Technology candidates must have experience using Autodesk Fusion 360 or similar software for 3D digital modeling and tool path generation. Operational and programing knowledge of Haas CNC Milling and Lathe machines or similar equipment is also required. Applicants should have excellent skills in communication and experience working with individuals or teams in a collaborative educational environment. Although teaching experience is preferred, applicants with no prior teaching experience but a strong aptitude or interest in teaching are encouraged to apply.Applicants should have excellent skills in communication and experience working with individuals or teams in a collaborative educational environment.
