Assistant Professor in Criminal Justice, beginning Fall 2023 (Tenure-Stream)
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice (Tenure-Stream) in the Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences, beginning Fall 2023.
Requirements: Ph.D. or ABD (with expected completion by September 2023) in Criminal Justice or a closely related field, with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Scholarship, advising, and service activities are required. Applied experience within the field of Criminal Justice (policing, corrections, courts) and experience teaching at the university or collegiate level are preferred.
Responsibilities: Applicants must be able to teach twelve credits per semester, in Criminal Justice at the undergraduate level. Preferred courses include Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology, Research Methods in Criminal Justice, and additional Criminal Justice classes as needed. Candidates experienced in working with college students from diverse backgrounds and who have applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
