For Academic Year 2021-22, there were over 11,100 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students that attended the University's residential campuses and approximately 20,195 students in total enrolled with the University around the world.

The Opportunity:

Embry-Riddle is now hiring an Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment Operations at the Daytona Beach campus. Responsibilities include the following:

Application and Document Processing
  • Review and process all graduate domestic and international masters and doctoral admissions applications using various admissions systems (Campus Solutions, Imaging, Workflow, and Salesforce/CRM). Other applications include:
    • Graduate English Language Institute (ERLI), ERLI/Pathways, Accelerated/Combined/4+1 Pathways, MS/PhD Track, Dual Masters, and dismissed or suspended students
    • Memorandums of understandings (MOU’s) with external organizations and universities such as Gulfstream (MMSE), 3+1+1/Chinese Institutions, Fulbright, USAID, and more
  • Verify MS/PhD eligibility, term availability, degree program, minors, specializations, and deadlines
  • Appropriately update and code applicant data in the student information system depending on international versus domestic status
  • Enter extensive applicant data into the system from external documents such as transcripts, resumes, letters of recommendation, statement of objectives, test scores, and more
  • Evaluate applicant documents and render admissions decisions when applicable. Also, make recommendations to graduate program coordinators for possible conditional admission
  • Work closely with recruiters, graduate program coordinators and faculty to revise admission criteria and inform them of any updates
  • Work closely with admissions graduate and transfer coordinators reviewing and processing applications
  • Collaborate with university departments including Records, Financial Aid, ISSS, Advising, and others to ensure applicants go through the enrollment funnel successfully
Training & Development
  • Create data entry standards and processes to support reporting goals
  • Manage the Graduate Admissions SharePoint manual by making regular updates to documents and materials
  • Train admissions staff to ensure proper continuity and succession
  • Train new program coordinators on how to use the admissions/enrollment systems and reports
  • Help streamline admissions operations and application processing through several automation procedures
  • Engage in several process improvement initiatives with faculty and recruitment team
  • Maintain strong relationships with campus partners to ensure consistent student record keeping
Quality Assurance
  • Maintain data integrity by performing regular comprehensive data auditing and cleanup via CS query management tools and Salesforce reports
  • Run regular reports using the Business Intelligence database to review applicant status and conduct outreach initiatives with recruiters
Project Management
  • Help identify projects suitable for Graduate Admissions and assist in bringing those to fruition by working hand in hand with Director
  • Provide leadership on project conception and implementation
Event Assistance & Participation
  • Represent the Office of Graduate Admissions at various Admissions events including Open House, Preview Day, and Orientation
  • Support the recruitment team and graduate faculty to coordinate Information Sessions for different programs in the fall and spring semesters
  • Participate in the Graduate Studies Committee meetings to help disseminate any relevant Graduate Admissions information to faculty and other university constituents
  • Attend and engage in monthly Graduate Admissions meetings with Enrollment Management leadership
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Leadership, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in Admissions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Inquisitive and reflective learner
  • High attentiveness to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-faced work environment
  • Passionate about solving problems, understanding how things work, and finding feasible/practical solutions
  • Driver of conversations and initiatives for process improvement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint to document business processes
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration with various university stakeholders
  • Familiarity with international student population, visa requirements, and immigration process
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Campus Solutions and Salesforce or related admissions/enrollment technology in a higher education environment
  • Experience with project collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex processes to end users and various campus stakeholders
  • Ability to build processes that are simple, effective, and clear for the admissions cycle
  • Familiarity with international admissions requirements
