Coordinator for Senior & Adult Leisure Learning Programs

The purpose of this position is to develop, implement, and supervise community education, noncredit programs and classes. This is accomplished by developing and implementing noncredit programs and classes; managing noncredit adjunct faculty and staff; ensuring superior customer service; establishing and maintaining community outreach; creating and tracking departmental budgets; and marketing classes and programs. Other duties include writing and preparing presentations and speaking to civic organizations regarding the 55+ population; maintaining a current database; and participating in College activities. Hands-on escort duties for HCC travel and tour programs are core duties for this position.

KSAs:

Program and course development, internal and external customer service, time management, and a high level of organization, planning and scheduling ability. Budget management and travel planning experience preferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least one year of work experience in a related field required
