About the Opportunity

Summary

The Antimicrobial Discovery Center is looking to hire 1-2 full-time, benefits eligible Senior Research Technicians for immediate start and competitive salary and benefits. We are seeking applicants with very specific backgrounds, as detailed below.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree 2+ years or Master's degree, lab experience required.

Significant experience with HPLC and sample preparation are required.

Microbiology experience is highly advantageous.

Natural product chemistry experience is an advantage.

Other chromatographic experience (Mass spectrometry, FPLC, etc.) is plus.

Reliability, organization, and good communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

Responsible for precise preparation of samples from microorganisms using a variety of sample preparation techniques (e.g. liquid-liquid extraction, SPE, polymer resin extraction)

Responsible for precise operation of sample analyses on a variety of instruments.

Works with senior staff and follows established protocols.

Assists in general support of lab function as assigned by Manager.
