University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the
university's educational mission by providing quality services that
complement the instructional program. The University depends upon
UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds.
We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but
not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending
services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and
local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Temporary, part time, non-benefitted position through 12/30/2022
(Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of
funds, availability of work and satisfactory job
$15.00-$18.00 per hour.
Riverside and San Bernardino
The Orange County / Inland Empire Small Business Development Center
is a federal program partially funded by the U.S. Small Business
Administration & the California Governor's Office of Business
& Economic Development. The SBDC is hosted by CSU, Fullerton
and the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of
this grant is to provide no-cost technical assistance to
entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Orange County.
Up to 19 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically,
Monday-Friday within the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm though some
nights, weekend work may be required.

reviewed beginning 2/21/2022.
Under the direction of the Regional SBDC Director, the
Administrative Assistant will maintain internal client database
system, organize and administer office activities, accommodate
incoming inquiries from local SBDCs and the general public, conduct
community outreach in support of the SBDC goals and mission and
provide event support for the Lead Center.
- Answer phones, route calls, and take messages
- Set appointments for consultants
- Call clients the day before their appointments to remind &
confirm who they are seeing and the time and date of
- Check emails for online appointment requests
- Assist with trainings, workshops and event planning
- Updating mailing lists, internal staff databases, and
- Keeps promotional materials ready and keeps inventory of stock,
places orders and verifies receipts
- Assist in execution of traditional or digital campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma
1 year general office experience
Well-developed communication skills and computer skills including
Microsoft office suite and ability to quickly and accurately learn
other electronic data bases and programs. Applicants must have good
interpersonal and communication skills along with excellent
customer service skills. Applicants must possess a thorough
knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, punctuation, as
well as knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices.
Applicants must have the ability to follow directions, take
initiative, be flexible, have the ability to multi-task and make
decisions on a day-to-day basis, and be accountable for work
