The Fashion Institute of Technology, a part of the State

Under the supervision of the department Chairperson and
Associate Coordinator, the Secretary I position enhances the goal
of student centeredness by providing aid in supporting the faculty
and the students in their daily needs by following established
rules, guidelines and practices.
- Provide secretarial support services for the FBM department
including maintaining google calendars, acting as receptionist for
the front desk, updating and maintaining confidential files, type
memos and correspondence and photocopy materials as
- Ability to work independently and completing multiple projects
on tight deadlines with minimal need for supervision.
- Assist the Assistant Coordinator and Administrative Assistant
with all FBM matters including gathering and organizing information
for special projects, meetings and reports.

The UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement
(CBA) dictates the compensation, benefits, and
conditions of employment.
Starting Salary: $39,327 per year with step
increments per Salary Schedule 87, after one year of
service and annually thereafter.
