Job Summary
The Part-time Assistant Facility Manager position is housed within the Photography Program in the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design’s Design Department. Facility management would be from 10 AM -2 PM, 20 hours a week, providing traditional and digital photographic studio support, administrative support, IT and accounting tasks. This role will also work closely with students, staff and faculty.

Essential Functions
- Check out equipment to students and faculty.
- Provide administrative support to Program Director.
- Provide IT support for class sessions and open lab times.
- Mixing and replenishing chemistry in darkrooms for Photography Labs.
- Basic photographic equipment maintenance.
- Oversee student employees.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography or related field.
- Experience in or working knowledge of a traditional dark room and digital labs and color management.
- Knowledge and understanding of photography.
- Knowledge photographic chemistry management.
- Knowledge or experience with photographic equipment troubleshooting on a range of platforms and brands of equipment.
- Ability to support team members and colleagues within a lab and/or classroom environment.
- Ability to support marketing and recruitment efforts.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
