The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Jackson State Community College (JSCC), a comprehensive, two-year postsecondary institution located in Jackson, Tennessee. Jackson is the relative midpoint of west Tennessee, conveniently located between Memphis and Nashville. As an Achieving the Dream college committed to student success, Jackson State meets the educational needs of west Tennessee, enrolling 3,500 credit seeking students each fall.

The next President will be a bold, dynamic, and energetic leader with academic competency and demonstrated experiences in community, workforce and economic development. The President will lead Jackson State through a time of unparalleled opportunities in academic growth and workforce development as the new $5.6 billion Blue Oval City is established nearby in west Tennessee. This electric vehicle and battery manufacturing campus will be among the largest auto manufacturing facilities in U.S. history.

The President must understand the integral role of the community college in contributing to the area's economic and workforce development efforts, including establishing key relationships with industry leaders.
