The Athletic Trainer (NATA Certified) serves as the primary athletic trainer for Women’s and Men's Tennis programs. As past of Virginia Tech Athletics Sports Medicine area, this position reports directly to the Associate AD / Sports Medicine.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or a bachelor's degree with significant athletic training/sports medicine experience in a collegiate Division I "Power 5" athletic department.
National Athletic Trainers Association certification.
Commitment to diversity.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional higher education in related area.
Additional certification in CPR/First Aid.
Teaching experience.
Research Experience.
Sports medicine experience with a Division I "Power 5" Men's and/or Women's Tennis program.
