ITS Assistant – Special Projects (OPS)


Florida Polytechnic University is looking for a candidate to serve as a part-time assistant in the ITS Division. This position will assist the ITS Business Manager in organizing, maintaining, and documenting surplus equipment and existing inventory, as well as other office management tasks.


  • Organization, documentation, and maintenance of equipment
  • Organization, documentation, and maintenance of files
  • Assist ITS Business Manager with inventory.
  • Other office tasks assigned.
  • Demonstrate initiative and responsibility.
  • Demonstrate strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently and follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 75 lbs.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • This position requires a criminal background check.
  • This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: This position is part-time OPS and may be required to work up to 29 hours per week. The hours worked will be between the normal work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The actual work schedule will be determined upon hire. Travel between campus locations may be required.
