GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Chinese and Japanese invites applications for a 1-year appointment in Japanese at the Instructor level (M.A.) beginning Fall 2023. The candidate should have M.A. in Japanese pedagogy, second language acquisition, or related field. Candidates are expected to describe their strategy for building an inclusive classroom composed of students from diverse backgrounds. The teaching load is five language courses over two semesters.
