A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) invites applications for a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences on ATSU’s Mesa campus. We seek a highly motivated and collaborative faculty member who has a passion for teaching and experience in gross anatomy.
This faculty member will play a key role in teaching teams to deliver core content to graduate health professions students (athletic training, audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology) enrolled in residential and online courses. This is an exempt, tenure track 12-month faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities for this position include developing courses, delivering courses with co- instructors (teaching teams), conducting independent research in area(s) of expertise, and engaging in service at multiple levels (departmental, school, professional, and community). This faculty member will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure the highest quality of education and mentorship for our students.

Required Qualifications
- Terminal academic doctoral degree in anatomy and/or science related field (eg, PhD or equivalent)
- Higher education teaching experience in human gross anatomy.
- Ability to conduct independent research in a defined area
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and students
- Skilled in working on interdisciplinary, collaborative, and diverse teams
- Commitment to supporting and promoting a diverse, equitable,
and inclusive environment
- Ability to teach other anatomy- and/or research-related courses (eg, neuroanatomy, research methods, statistical analysis).
- Experience developing and delivering online and hybrid courses at the graduate level
- Experience working with a variety of student learning styles
- Interest and experience in mentoring graduate student research
- Interest and experience delivering programming for faculty development
- Credentialed healthcare provider (eg, ATC, PT, OT) who is eligible for licensure in the State of Arizona
