In consultation with faculty and staff, the Registrar implements and explains academic policies and procedures to clearly communicate rules, processes, and deadlines to students and faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to set priorities for office operations, including evaluating and assessing personnel and technology needs; ensure compliance with academic, regulatory, and accreditation requirements; manage collection, maintenance, and reporting of student records; and, in partnership with other offices on campus, facilitate a culture of evaluation to improve services. The Registrar works closely with departments across campus, including but not limited to Information Technology, Institutional Research, Dean of Students, Financial Aid, Students Accounts, Global Education, and serves on the Committee on Student Work, as well as ad hoc committees as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated technical, analytical, problem-solving, and change-management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of existing and pending legislation governing higher education policy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with students, faculty, staff, and parents.
