Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is seeking applicants for a Continuing and Community Education Manager position at the Walla Walla campus.

General Description:
This position leads and manages the Continuing & Community Education (CCE) department, encompassing all non-credit courses or programs, including the financial health of these operations. This position is responsible for outreach to businesses and organizations in the college's service area, identifying workforce training needs, and developing solutions. The CCE Manager works closely with and under the direction of the Dean of Access & Opportunity to guide the implementation of the College's continuing and community education courses and programs. The position works cross-departmentally to achieve department and college goals through community engagement and program development, ensuring CCE courses and programs meet community and industry demands.
The position is housed at the Walla Walla campus and provides programming for the Walla Walla campus, Clarkston campus, and community locations. May require local travel between campus locations and occasional evening and weekend hours. Examples of non-credit offerings include Quest, Leadership Walla Walla, Ed2Go, youth and adult community programming, employer contracts, job skills programs, customized training program, etc.

This is a full-time professional position. Persons hired must be able to provide acceptable documentation of lawful authorization to work in the United States within three (3) days of employment. WWCC participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. Official college transcripts required at time of hire. Candidates may be subject to a criminal history background check as a condition of employment. Information from the background check may not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant's suitability and competence to perform in the position. The college is a tobacco free institution.
Physical requirements and environment are typical of those in a general office setting, with the possibility of being outdoors. This job involves regular sitting, standing, walking, typing, moving, and exposure to office lighting. A wide variety of standard office equipment is continually used, including a phone, copier, printer, and computer, and the ability to lift 50 pounds with a hand truck or dollies and move furniture/tables/chairs for classroom set up and breakdown. This position work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday 8-hours each day. During the summer, work schedule is Monday through Thursday 10-hours each day. Frequent local and regional travel and occasional statewide travel are required.
Compensation:
Annual salary range: $65,000-70,000. The college has an excellent benefit program including paid sick leave; paid vacation leave; medical, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance; retirement and two optional deferred compensation programs. All full-time employees will automatically have 3% of taxable income deferred into the State of Washington Deferred Compensation Program (DCP). All administrative exempt staff set aside 1% of their gross salary in a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) (VEBA). All exempt employees are required to participate in this program. Walla Walla Community College requires all employees to participate in direct deposit for payment of salary.
