Job Description Summary
The newly hired Psych Tech (PT) will work on projects in the Brodkin lab related to genomics studies and services for people and families
affected by autism or Williams syndrome. The PT will be involved in recruitment of individuals with autism or Williams syndrome;

recruitment of family members; administration of quantitative measures of behavioral traits, including sleep traits; development of improved

services for affected individuals and families; submission and maintenance of IRB protocols, including amendments to the protocols;
management of database in REDCap.

Job Description

Psych Tech needed to work on a study of the genetics of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Williams Syndrome (WS). Duties will include submission of IRB protocol; recruitment of individuals with ASD, WS, and their family members; administration of questionnaires for phenotyping; entry of data into a database; graphing and analysis of data; regularly attend lab and research team meetings.

Successful applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree with a major in the Biological Basis of Behavior, or related fields. Although no post-college work experience is required, experience during college in carrying out behavioral phenotyping of autism-related traits in both adults and children is preferred.
