Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure track faculty position for the undergraduate forensic psychology program within the School of Psychology, to begin in August 2023 or January 2024 (August 2024 is also possible). Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in legal psychology.




Florida Tech invites applications for a tenure track faculty position for the undergraduate forensic psychology program within the School of Psychology, to begin in August 2023 or January 2024 (August 2024 is also possible). Florida Tech features an undergraduate degree program in forensic psychology that is experiencing increased student enrollment and we are seeking to add a new faculty member to complement existing faculty and grow our program. Expected qualifications include a Ph.D. (or ABD) in Psychology or forensic psychology related interdisciplinary field. We welcome candidates from all areas of specialization within forensic psychology (experimental or clinical) to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with a program of forensic-relevant research that engages undergraduate students and who have the ability to teach undergraduate courses in areas of forensic psychology in addition to courses in general psychology. We are seeking candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service who will embody our emphasis on student success. Specific responsibilities include: (a) teaching undergraduate courses in forensic psychology and psychology (b) conducting high quality, programmatic research with undergraduate involvement, (c) seeking research funding, and (d) advising and mentoring undergraduate students.
