The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Purdue University Fort Wayne invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the Fall 2023 semester. Applicants for this position should hold or expect to have completed a Ph.D. in mathematical sciences or related field by Fall 2023. The expected teaching load is 12 credit hours. The salary and fringe benefits are competitive. The Department includes faculty in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, and mathematics education. It offers MS in Mathematics, Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics, and BS programs in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, and Data Science and Applied Statistics. Preference will be given to candidates in a research area related to discrete mathematics, compatible with current faculty research interests and the department’s teaching needs.
