The University of Puget Sound is hiring a Head Coach- Women's Lacrosse to join our Athletics Department! The Head Coach is responsible for directing the women's lacrosse program to best represent the mission and vision of the university and the department. The primary responsibilities include the recruitment, retention, academic, and personal development of the student-athletes. The Head coach will provide dynamic training and skill development of student-athletes to reach competitive goals established.

-Positions that work less than .75 FTE (1,560 hours per year) do not qualify for long-term disability or education benefits.

To be considered for this role, a candidate must:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Two seasons of collegiate coaching experience, preferably at the NCAA Division III level
• Proven success in recruiting student-athletes;
• Possess a strong knowledge of the sport as well as a solid understanding of strength and conditioning elements and health and safety standards;
• Effective organizational, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Strong computer and video technology skills; excellent leadership, management, and problem solving skills;
• Demonstrated level of high ethical conduct;
• Demonstrated understanding and adherence to institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and policies;
• Knowledge and commitment to the role of intercollegiate athletics in an academically-oriented liberal arts institution;
• Ability to respectfully work, communicate and provide leadership within a diverse campus community.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $26.61 per hour. Decisions about starting salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and on internal equity and market considerations.
• This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
