The International Business & Strategy (IB&S) Group of the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University invites applications for two open-rank non-tenure track faculty positions in Boston, Massachusetts, with employment beginning in the 2023-24 academic year. These are full-time, benefits-eligible positions with teaching, research, and service responsibilities. Appointment will be made at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Teaching Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the D'Amore-McKim School of Business:

The D'Amore-McKim School of Business offers a unique model of business education that purposely blends innovative classroom learning with real-world business application. Its students explore cutting-edge theory with professors, fusing knowledge with learning experiences that include cooperative education or corporate residency, study abroad, and community service. Similarly, the school's resulting connections with the corporate world influence its research agendas, which, in turn, shape innovative new business practice. This synergy enables D'Amore-McKim students to become successful business leaders who are both thinkers and doers, and thus highly qualified to think critically and leave their mark on the global business world.

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels in international business, strategy, and/or related subjects; participate in service to the IB&S Group, D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and the discipline; and develop an appropriate independent research program necessary to achieve and maintain AACSB qualification as a Scholarly Academic.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a doctorate in International Business, Management, or a closely related field by the appointment start date. Candidates for appointment at the Associate or Full Teaching Professor level must have significant college teaching and/or professional experience. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and research, and must have a background in or commitment to working with diverse student populations and/or in culturally diverse work and educational environments.
