Job Summary: SUNY Brockport has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director/ Nurse Practitioner of the Student Health Center. Reporting to the Director of Hazen Center for Integrated Care, the Assistant Director/NP is responsible for oversight of the health center operations and laboratory to assure accreditation standards, clinical based medicine and all regulations are maintained to operate a Health Clinic.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • NYS license to practice as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner.
  • National Board Certification.
  • Three years' experience in an advanced practice role.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Basic computer skills to type notes and access electronic medical records.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience providing administrative and clinical supervision.
  • Experience in ambulatory, urgent or emergency care, sexual and reproductive health and medication management for mental health.
  • Experience in providing collaborative team-based care.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
  • Five years' experience in an advanced practice role.
    Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
    Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary is $98,000. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
