Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-driven auditing professional to join our Agency Risk Management and Internal Controls Standards (ARMICS) Manager to:

• Perform fieldwork to analyze, document, test and evaluate internal accounting controls systems through interviews, observations, and records examination.
• Assist with special projects to draft reports, responses, presentations, and financial analysis which may include collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing financial data, developing alternative solutions and clearly and concisely convey ideas.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in business, accounting, finance, business information technology, data analysis or related field;
• Working knowledge of auditing standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
• Proficient in use of Word and Excel or similar computer software; and
• Strong analytical skills and ability to create complex reports and financial analysis for senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Related professional certification (i.e., Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Information Systems Auditor).
• Previous experience in public accounting or internal auditing.
• Administrative experience in higher education.
• Knowledge of flowcharting software, and electronic workpaper software such as AuditBoard or similar.
