Position Description Summary/Purpose :

This Records and Enrollment Manager assists in the management of student enrollment, registration, and records in accordance with relevant regulations and policies within the office of the Registrar. They maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) according to Title IV guidelines and contribute to final stage of celebrating students’ academic journey by managing the student facets of commencement, including regalia ordering and distribution.

Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :

  • Manages Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) according to Title IV guidelines.
  • Correspond with students regarding SAP status and inform financial aid of any changes to students’ financial aid eligibility due to SAP.
  • Responsible for census processing and collaborating with faculty for attendance tracking.
  • Manages the third attempt process and registers students for their third attempt course.
  • Manages Acadeum registration process and supports any other cross-registration services.
  • Collaborates with Admissions to support overenroll requests and registration.
  • Identifies graduates and prepares preliminary paperwork to the Registrar.
  • Manages graduation related activities including diploma and regalia ordering and distribution.
  • Perform special projects as requested.
  • Evening and weekend hours may be required.
  • Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety practices are followed.
Other Functions :
  • Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates.
  • Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends.
  • Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.
Knowledge, Ability and Skill :
  • Requires cognitive ability to prioritize duties and flexibility to manage different responsibilities at once.
  • Need for adaptability, professionalism and confidence in decision-making.
  • Organizational skills are essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively and under tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records and related documents
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Sonis, TES and Conclusive software
Minimum Required Qualifications :

Education, Training and Experience :
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • 3+ years of experience working in higher education, Title IV, or related field preferred
