Job Summary
The Program Coordinator assists with the planning and coordinating of programs and the day-to-day activities in the Business Programs Department. The Program Coordinator provides administrative, clerical, and project management support to the department, implements policies and procedures, and assists with the planning and scheduling of courses. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with staff and faculty in the department and division in an effort to provide students with the information to be successful.

Job Summary
The Program Coordinator assists with the planning and coordinating of programs and the day-to-day activities in the Business Programs Department. The Program Coordinator provides administrative, clerical, and project management support to the department, implements policies and procedures, and assists with the planning and scheduling of courses. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with staff and faculty in the department and division in an effort to provide students with the information to be successful.
Program Coordination
- Works with the Chairperson and Lead Instructors to complete the schedule of classes in the Business Programs Department. Receives input for the updating of the program’s student handbook.
- Coordinates curriculum designs, revisions, and assessments of student achievement. Ensures implementation of policies and procedures.
- Creates and maintains programs/department records, reports, presentations, and proposals.
- Assists the department Chairperson with developing new business processes and procedures for the department’s administrative functionality.
- Assists with building/editing course sections.
- Assists with processing workload and reassigned time forms from faculty. Provides students with published information about departmental programs and provides support for information sessions.
- Completes special projects in support of program, department, and possibly division needs.
- Assists the Chairperson in the monitoring of contracts. Monitors credentialing examination. Coordinates meetings and communications.
- Provides input and monitors operational and capital budgeting.
- Assists in maintaining departmental web pages and coordinating and covering department-sponsored events.
- Answers questions and provides information to potential and current students regarding admission requirements for Business Programs Department.
- Gather and compile materials/information to help organize and prepare for program accreditation submission and site visits.
- Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
- Two (2) years of experience working in an office setting or customer service experience.
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to access work site(s).
