The Department of Statistics and Data Science at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania seeks to hire full-time or part-time lecturers. Lecturers will teach courses on the University's campus in Philadelphia, PA.
Qualified and interested candidates for a full-time lecturer position may also be considered for a concurrent, formal appointment with the Wharton Sports Analytics and Business Initiative (WSABI).
Note that lecturers are not eligible for tenure, and do not have voting rights in the department or the school. The position may be renewed based upon the needs of the department.
Qualifications
Candidates are expected to have a deep knowledge of the relevant academic domain. Further, as excellence in teaching is the primary criteria for this position, applicants must have outstanding communication skills, along with an interest in teaching undergraduate and/or MBA students. Applicants must have a degree from an accredited institution; Ph.D. is preferred.
