Assistant or Associate Professor of Criminology

Cottey College, a leading private liberal arts and sciences college for women, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Criminology, starting August 2023. Teaching load typically includes four courses each semester. The successful candidate should have a graduate degree (PhD preferred but ABD considered) in criminology or in sociology with a specialization in criminology and experience in teaching courses in criminology and sociology. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in undergraduate education, teaching and advising, and a desire to develop the Criminology program at Cottey. Teaching load typically includes four courses each semester, and faculty members are expected to engage in scholarly activities and provide service to the Cottey community. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
