undergraduate and graduate initial certification programs. Engage
with local PK-12 practitioners to advance practice-based teacher
education. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a
commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Appointment begins August 2023 for the 2023-2024 academic year and the position may be eligible for annual renewal up to three years. The salary for this position is competitive and accompanied by a substantial benefits package. Minimum QualificationsCandidates are expected to have: 1) Earned doctorate (or ABD) in social studies education or related area, 2) Three years or more of successful teaching experience at the PK-16 level, and 3) Recent professional experiences within PK-16 education.Special Instructions to ApplicantsCandidates should upload: a) a cover letter, b) CV, c) an unofficial transcript, d) a one-page teaching statement that outlines your pedagogical commitments/orientations and practices in the teacher education classroom, e) a one-page diversity statement that demonstrates your commitment to educational equity and social justice.
