Year- Round Adjunct Faculty Pool

Position Title: Adjunct Faculty Pool, School of Arts and Sciences Position Location:Wingate Main Campus

Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several adjunct teaching positions in the areas below. These part-time positions will primarily teach in-person classes on our main campus, unless otherwise specified.

Art Art Appreciation, Ceramics, Digital Photography, Graphic

Design, and Two-Dimensional Art, Art Therapy (must have Master’s Degree in Art Therapy)

Biology Introductory cellular biology laboratories, Human Biology

and other introductory level biology courses

Communication Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Broadcasting, Public

Speaking, and other speech communication courses

Chemistry Fundamentals of Chemistry, Principles of Chemistry I and

Principles of Chemistry II

Criminal Justice/Psychology Forensic Psychology and other related courses

English University Writing

and Research Global Perspectives

in Literature

History World History

Mathematics Inferential Statistics, Quantitative Reasoning,

and other introductory level mathematics courses

Modern Languages Elementary American Sign Language

Spanish

Physics

Sociology Areas of Sociology, Human Services, Gender Studies, African

American Studies, Medical Sociology, and related fields

Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree, 18 graduate hours in the discipline, and college teaching experience. Experience with learning management systems (i.e., Canvas) and content development tools such as Camtasia, Zoom, Snagit, and other e-learning tools is preferred.
