Landmark College in Putney, VT, is seeking adjunct instructors to teach online Introductory associate degree courses offered by the College.

Online adjunct positions are offered to qualified applicants who live in and are authorized to work in the United States. We are currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach the following courses:  Business Courses (Accounting, Management, Finance)

  • Communication / Public Speaking
  • Personal or Career Development/Learning Science
  • Composition & Rhetoric
  • Research and Analysis
  • Creative Writing
  • History
  • Social Sciences
  • Remedial Mathematics

Landmark College is one of only two accredited colleges in the United States designed exclusively for students who learn differently, including students with learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism.

Qualifications

  1. A master's degree in one or more of the teaching disciplines is required; a Ph.D. or equivalent degree is preferred.
  2. Successful teaching experience in the content area/discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
  3. Experience teaching online courses is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Experience teaching students with learning and attention issues preferred.
  5. Experience teaching students with learning and attention issues preferred.
  6. Access to a personal computer, and reliable broadband internet service.

Additional Requirement

Adjuncts are required to complete an online instructor orientation course before the start of classes. Instructors are required to teach two (2) one-hour synchronous sessions per week in the subject area.

Course Information

Course syllabi and curricular content are provided by Landmark College. The adjunct instructor has the option to incorporate supplementary materials and activities, with the approval of the Landmark College Academic Affairs Department.
