Job Description

The Enrollment Coordinator (EC) provides front end, integrated support services to ensure that
the campus community has a positive experience when visiting the university’s one-stop
Enrollment Services Center. They are a resource for students, helping them navigate the
enrollment process and providing support throughout their academic journey. It is essential that
the EC provide outstanding customer service, exhibit excellent problem solving skills and
discretion when resolving questions. The EC supports a diverse community, including non-
native, international, and high school students, in addition to other community members whose
needs and interests vary.
The EC is responsible for academic advising, registration, processing financial aid, and student
billing. This role involves heavy daily in person, email and phone contact. The EC must have an
in-depth understanding of Saint Peter’s institutional, federal and state policies regulating
academic records, registration, financial aid, and student account billing.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
● Provide support and processing of registration, student records, substitutions, academic
advisement, refunds, investigate, problem-solve, and resolve issues.
● Provide information related to financial aid, including FAFSA applications, eligibility,
disbursement of aid, cost of attendance, types of aid and estimated family contribution.
● Provide options available to financing their education, such as loans, and other billing
and payment plan options.
● Accepts cash payments and maintains a daily cash box.
● Issue campus ID cards, assign building access and add monetary value to the card.
● Evaluate appeals and forward to the appropriate area for late registration, tuition
forfeiture, and late fees. Communicate results of waiver, appeal or petition to students in
a professional manner.
● Offer proactive solutions to improve support services.
● Keep abreast of University, departmental, federal and state regulations.
● Exercise good judgment in escalating complex issues to supervisors/managers.
● Sensitive to cultural diversity and ability to communicate and interact effectively with
people of all ages and identities.
● Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Standards

QUALIFICATIONS :
● Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
● Experience: Two years of experience in higher education administration, preferably in
Student Accounts, Financial Aid, or Registrar; familiarity with registration, FERPA, and
collaboration with the administration.
