Job Details

Administer Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarships and TSAA Grants managing all end of term processes as well as fall and spring certification. This also includes processing unofficial withdrawals and return of funds. This position has a high volume of work during all times of the year and communication with team members, students, parents, state agencies and TSAC is an essential part of this role. The Coordinator works closely with other student services and enrollment management staff to provide financial aid information and prompt service to students. This position will supervise 1 staff, which includes overseeing Dual Enrollment Grants, Non-Traditional HOPE, Co-op and military leave processing. This position serves on the Refund Appeal Committee.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with ability to counsel parents and/or students with confidential and delicate situations. High level of organization and ability to handle a large volume of work under pressure. Ability to multitask in a high traffic environment and still provide timely, accurate results. Ability to work independently, prioritize and attend to details as needed. Ability to research and analyze complex datasets. Working knowledge of personal computer applications such as Word and Excel.   Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Higher Education policies and procedures. Financial Aid Experience. Understanding of TN State Lottery Processes. Ability to reconcile accounts. Proficient in Excel. Ability to travel/speak as needed. Knowledge of Banner/INB, Argos, FERPA, E-Grands.
