Teaching Assistant Professor - Information Systems

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, College of Business Administration, Department of Information Systems, invites applicants to fill a 100% instructional academic staff position to start August 28, 2023. Rank will be Teaching Assistant Professor. Under the general supervision of the Department Chair, a person in this position will teach four undergraduate sections each semester of an introduction to information systems course or related courses in a face-to-face delivery format, and will participate in department, college and university level service activities. Secondary teaching responsibilities may include other Information Systems courses. In addition to preparing for and holding classes, teaching involves maintaining currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment, evaluating students’ work, assessing student outcomes, maintaining appropriate records, and holding office hours. Other duties may be assigned by the Department Chair or Dean.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest and high level of competence in undergraduate teaching. The position requires at minimum a Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field by the start date.
