The Financial Aid Specialist position is a full-time career service
position that will provide support and counseling for federal,
state, and institutional programs. This position reports to
Assistant Director, Financial Aid.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides assistance to students
and other personnel during registrations. Participates and provides
Financial Aid expertise for student affairs events. Reviews student
files for accuracy and completeness. Provides excellent customer
service. Monitors and covers the Financial Aid call center and
front window and provides assistance as needed. Counsels students
and parents on all related financial aid areas.
: Graduation from a regionally
accredited institution with an associate degree or its equivalent.
Relevant work experience may be substituted for the college degree
requirement on a year-for-year basis. Successful results of a
criminal background check are required.

deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida
Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will
be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of
employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse
information contained in the background investigation at the time
of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from
SALARY: $27,825.00 ($14.27/hour)
