Duties and Responsibilities

Qualification Standards

The Department of Economics and Finance at Saint Peter’s University invites applications for a one year appointment at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in the Fall of 2023, with the subsequent potential for it to be converted into a tenure-track position.

Education

Candidates should preferably have already earned (or are near the completion of) a Ph.D. in economics or finance.

Experience

The cover letter should speak to how you would build an active classroom setting when dealing with complex conceptual economic and financial issues, and the diversity statement should demonstrate expertise in multiple approaches to the discipline and the ways in which you would engage a diverse educational environment.
