Job Details
The College of Arts and Letters at STEVENS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is seeking candidates for a one-year full-time, non-tenure-track appointment as Lecturer in Science & Technology Studies, commencing fall 2023. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Science & Technology Studies (STS) or one of its affiliated fields (i.e. the History, Anthropology, Sociology, or Philosophy of Science and/or Technology), and possess experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching multiple sections of HSS 371 Computers & Society and additional upper-level STS courses based on the candidate’s areas of expertise. Teaching load will be 4/4. This position is renewable.
