Director, Student Professional Development

North Carolina Central University

Primary Purpose of Position:
The Director of Student Professional Development will provide strategic
planning and management necessary to support successful oversight of
student career readiness and placement programs. The director
reports directly to the Dean of the School of Business.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Master’s degree in Business, Counseling, Career Counseling, Student
Affairs, Higher Education or related field. Demonstrable experience
working with students, student groups, experience in program
management and professional development. Excellent interpersonal
and communicationskills are a requirement.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in higher education
with students, student groups and career counseling. Experience
developing programs, working with others on a team based approach.
Proficiency in computer systems.
