The preferred candidate will hold a Ph.D. in geology or a related field, although applicants with a Master's degree in geology or a related field will be given strong consideration. We are seeking a candidate to primarily teach lab-based introductory courses in Physical Geography (GEO-121) with a lab, and Environmental Geology (GEO-227), although the opportunity exists to teach other courses in the candidate's specialty. The faculty member would be responsible for teaching both lectures and labs in person at our campus in Berea, Ohio, starting August 21, 2023. Please refer to the University's website for more information about the department and course descriptions (https://www.bw.edu/academics/undergraduate/environmental-science/)

Electronic applications are required. An application can be made at HR's Employment & Careers web page at https://www.bw.edu/employment. Candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, a diversity statement, unofficial transcripts, contact information for three references, and, if available, results of teaching evaluations.
