Position Summary:
The Department of Language and Cultural Studies, Anthropology, and Sociology @ Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach 1 to 3 French language and/or culture courses on a semester-by-semester basis as determined by enrollment availability.

Applications for this position will be reviewed on an as-needed basis for the Fall 2021 semester. This is for a part-time position only. The number of courses offered, one to three at maximum, will vary on availability by demand. Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a satisfactory criminal background check and educational credential verification.

Minimum Qualifications:
Native or near-native proficiency in oral and written French is required. PhD preferred; Masters with minimum 18 graduate credit-hours in French studies required. Degree(s) at time of appointment must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited institution and/or a recognized international university. Appropriate proficiency in oral and written English required.
